Information about donations

I appreciate all donations of any size.

I will use your donation to support my campaign for election to the NT Parliament on 24 August, 2024.  All donations will be placed in a separate bank account: Mililma May for Nightcliff Campaign Account.

By law, independent candidates in the NT must not receive anonymous donations of more than $200.

Donations of more than $200 must be disclosed by independent candidates in the NT at various times in the lead-up and after the election, so collecting the name, address and email of people who donate over $200 is important. Please see my privacy policy.

A person who donates more than $1500 to an independent candidate in the NT in a financial year must disclose this to NT Electoral Commission within 60 days after the end of the financial year. Reporting is simple:

Consistent with my goal of greater transparency in government, there are some individuals and businesses from whom Mililma May for Nightcliff will not accept donations. The decision not to accept donations is at my sole discretion.
